In 2017, Iraq War veteran Brian Brown-Easley (John Boyega) walked into an Atlanta bank and threatened to detonate a bomb if his demand wasn't met. His ask? Eight hundred and ninety-two dollars-the withheld amount of VA benefits that stood between him and homelessness. The efforts of police negotiator Eli Bernard (Michael Kenneth Williams) to keep the situation from escalating fuel this gripping, fact-based effort.
