Join us for an engaging presentation by retired FBI Agent Keith Ludwick, offering education to Seniors to help them prevent scams. It covers why Seniors are targeted, some of the commonalities of various scams, and how people can protect themselves. It is centered on a recently published book through Shine Press entitled "ScamSmart: An Expert's Guide to Spotting Scams and Living the Fraud Free Life." This presentation ties in with the book, which covers similar topics only in much more detail.
Keith Ludwick, Ph.D., is a retired Special Agent of the FBI and started his professional career as a Pilot in the U.S. Air Force. He is a Professor of Intelligence at American Military University, teaching courses centered on intelligence, cyber policy, and terrorism. He has published numerous journal articles and is the author of "ScamSmart: An Expert's Guide to Spotting Scams and Living the Fraud Free Life". He has received numerous awards, among them the CIA Meritorious Unit Citation for significant contributions to a highly successful double-agent operation, the FBI Director’s Award for Distinguished Technical Advancement, the Naval Postgraduate School’s Award for Academic Excellence and Leadership, and the Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award from American Military University. He obtained a B.S. in Computer Science, an M.A. in Strategic Studies – Homeland Security from the Naval Postgraduate School, an M.S. in Cybersecurity from AMU, and a Ph.D. in Biodefense from George Mason University. He is the President and CEO of Stop Scamming Me, a company founded with the vision of helping educate and prevent financial fraud in Seniors. Additionally, he is President and CEO of The Ludwick Agency, a private investigative and security consulting firm specializing in elder financial fraud. He works with estate lawyers to locate heirs and validates clients' histories.
