Have you ever wanted to immerse yourself in the tranquility of a Florida Forest? In this 2 part series, City arborist, Craig Wilson, will talk about the new city nature preserve!

Part 1 will start with a presentation. In this presentation Craig will talk about the critically endangered scrub habitat along with a part of the preserve that containts the largest undeveloped sandy ecosystem remaining in North Pinellas County. Additionally, the Preserve boasts the last-known remaining Rosemary Bald in Pinellas County and is filled with 143 native plant species.

In Part 2 of the series, Craig will host a walk and talk at the preserve! The walk will cover the ½ mile trail system in and then a ½ mile out for a total of approximately 1 mile of leisurely educational walk.
