Program Description

Event Details

Join our child advocacy team! The Florida Statewide Guardian ad Litem Office represents abused, abandoned and neglected children in the courtroom and community. Through the collaboration of a multidisciplinary team that includes Guardian ad Litem Attorney, a certified child welfare professional, and hopefully a trained volunteer, out team provides legal representation to these children while assisting the child in expressing their needs and wishes. You are invited to attend on our orientation sessions. This is the best way to find out more about being a Guardian ad Litem Volunteer, as it provides you an opportunity to ask and receive answers to any questions you may have. The meeting typically lasts 30 - 45 minutes.
